What is Designing?

Designing is an activity that uses a wide range of experiences, knowledge and [ skills– functions– creations] within certain [solutions– functions-constraints].

Designing involves identifying a [change-function-problem], making a thoughtful [response—communication– reaction] and then [solving– fixing– creating] and testing a solution.

Usually, one has then to [send– create– modify] the solution, so that the process of designing has almost to [finish– start– stop] again.

Why designs change

One reason is the [flexibility– elements– needs] of society. An example of this is the recent change to [larger– smaller– blue coloured] cars. These were designed in [instance– response– decision] to the demand for [luxurious– large– economical] easier to park vehicles as our cities become more [fashionable– empty– congested].

Another reason for change is the [development– processing-flexibility] of new technology which can be applied to traditional [music– products– dances].

For example, the new designs of computers, cell phones (see above), game consoles are only possible because of the [testing– lightness– development] of microchip technology.
